Looping Stream Looping Stream

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Looping Stream processes information when you use loopingstream.com and the dashboard at my.loopingstream.com. For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact [email protected].

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, profile-photo URL, and language when available; your account settings, time zone, and billing country.
  • Media and streaming information: files you upload or choose to import, file names and technical metadata, playlists, processing settings, RTMP/RTMPS destinations and stream keys, and stream status and operational logs.
  • Billing information: your selected plans, account balance, payment and transaction identifiers, amounts, and payment status. Payment providers process payment credentials; we do not store full payment-card details.
  • Technical and support information: IP address, browser information, cookies, security and error logs, and information you provide when contacting support.

2. Sign in with Google

We use Google sign-in to verify your identity, create your Looping Stream account, sign you in to your existing account, and display your account profile. We request basic identity permissions: openid, email, and profile. We store the account information described above in our account database. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Signing in does not request access to your Google Drive files, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or YouTube channel. Optional Google Drive access is requested separately when you choose to connect Drive for importing media.

3. Optional Google Drive imports

When you choose to connect Google Drive, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission and use Google Picker so that you can select the files to share with Looping Stream. This permission applies to specific files you select for the app; it does not give us general access to every file in your Drive. Google's permission screen describes the capabilities of this scope, which include creating, editing, and deleting shared files. Our media-import feature uses it to read the selected files and their metadata and download copies; it does not modify or delete your originals on Drive.

For an import, we read the selected file's identifier, name, size, media type, download capability, version, checksum, and media-duration metadata when available, together with access information needed to download it. We copy the selected media to Looping Stream storage and process it according to the import settings you choose so that it can be used in your playlists and broadcasts.

We store encrypted Google Drive access and refresh tokens in private server storage to keep the connection available and allow imports to continue in the background after you close your browser. We also store import selections, job metadata, progress, and errors to carry out imports, show their status, and troubleshoot failures. Imported copies become part of your Looping Stream media library.

Drive access is optional. You can use Google sign-in and upload files from your device without connecting Drive.

4. How we use and share information

We use information to operate your account; store, import, prepare, and broadcast your media; manage plans and payments; answer support requests; maintain security; prevent abuse; investigate errors; and meet legal obligations.

Hosting, storage, processing, networking, and security providers process information as necessary to operate these features. Payment providers, including Stripe, Link, and Cryptomus where offered, process information needed for your chosen payment method under their own privacy notices. When you start a broadcast, the chosen destination receives your transmitted media and the streaming information needed to deliver it. Your content may become public according to the destination and visibility settings you choose.

We do not sell Google user data, share it with advertising platforms, or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or training general-purpose AI models. We do not use the contents of your Drive files for unrelated analytics or unrelated product development. Access by support or technical personnel is limited to what is necessary for a request you authorize, security and abuse investigations, or legal obligations.

Looping Stream's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google also processes information under the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and third-party content

Necessary cookies keep you signed in, maintain your session, remember settings, and protect requests. The public site also uses Google Analytics with the cookie choices shown on the site; you can accept or reject optional analytics cookies. Google-hosted sign-in, Google Picker, and embedded YouTube tutorials may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information when their resources are loaded or you interact with them. Your Google account identity, OAuth tokens, and imported file contents are not supplied to analytics for advertising.

6. Storage and retention

We store account information while your account is maintained. We keep media and operational information for the service features you use, troubleshooting and security, subject to your deletion requests and the retention described in our Terms of Service. After a plan expires, media may be retained for up to 30 days where technically possible. Keep your own backups of important media.

Drive connection tokens remain in private encrypted storage until you disconnect Drive, request their deletion, or the connection is removed. An import's job and selection data are used for processing and status information; you can request deletion of this information through support. Payment records and limited security or legal records may need to be retained after other account information is removed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or investigate abuse. Restricted backup copies may persist until replaced or removed through backup maintenance and are not used to restore deleted information to normal service use.

7. Disconnect Google Drive or revoke Google access

To remove the saved Drive connection, open the Google Drive import dialog in Storage and select Disconnect Google Drive. Complete any active import first. Disconnecting removes the saved Drive connection credentials and stops future imports through that connection. It does not delete copies already imported into your Looping Stream storage or remove your Looping Stream account.

You can also revoke Google's authorization for Looping Stream through your Google Account connections. Local disconnection and Google's authorization are separate: disconnecting in Looping Stream does not revoke the app's grant in your Google Account. Revoking the app in Google may require reconnecting Drive or authorizing Google sign-in again. A revoked connection cannot authorize new Drive requests; if an import has already transferred some data, those copies may remain in Looping Stream until deleted.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You can update available account settings, delete media through Storage when it is not locked by an active operation, disconnect Drive, and manage Google authorization as described above. To request a copy, correction, or deletion of account information, imported-file metadata, import history, or your entire account, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify that you control the account. Do not send Google passwords, OAuth tokens, or stream keys.

We respond to privacy requests and explain any information that must be retained under applicable law. Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict processing, object to certain uses, receive portable data, or complain to a data-protection authority. Revoking access or disconnecting an integration does not by itself request deletion of the Looping Stream account or its media.

9. Security and international processing

We use HTTPS, private server storage, restricted database access, encrypted Drive connection tokens, and access controls to protect information. Infrastructure and service providers may process information outside your country. No system can guarantee complete security or permanent availability.

10. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the service or our data practices change. Material changes affecting Google's user data will be disclosed in the product and, where required, require your consent before the changed use begins. The date above identifies the current version. Contact [email protected] for questions or complaints.
