FAQ

What is Looping Stream?

Looping Stream is a service for running 24/7 live streams from pre-recorded videos. Upload your videos, we automatically optimize them for the selected platform, then you go live using your stream key. Simple setup, stable output - built for continuous streaming.

Which platforms are supported?

Currently: YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, LinkedIn, Trovo, Rumble, DLive. We add new platforms over time - follow updates in our Blog.

Do you have a free plan?

Yes. Trial starts automatically on your first dashboard login and lasts 5 days. Trial-optimized videos include a logo watermark. Paid plans remove the logo and unlock full usage.

What's the difference between paid plans?

Plans differ by the number of simultaneous streams (1 / 4 / 8) and storage size (10 / 40 / 80 GB). Full details are shown in Pricing/Plans.

Can I have multiple plans at the same time?

Yes. You can purchase multiple plans and switch between them from the top panel in your dashboard. It's a convenient way to scale when one plan isn't enough.

Which file formats can I upload?

Supported upload containers: mp4, mkv, flv, mov, wmv, avi. We accept different input qualities and resolutions - our encoder automatically prepares your videos for smooth streaming so platforms won't complain about technical issues.

Do you support vertical video (9:16) and Shorts-style content?

Yes. Vertical 9:16 works great - perfect for Shorts-style content and continuous live loops. We keep the original aspect ratio (vertical stays vertical, horizontal stays horizontal, square stays square).

Do you support 360° / 3D video?

Not at the moment (360 metadata is not preserved for proper 360 playback).

What happens after upload?

You select a platform preset (for example, YouTube), then automatic optimization starts. While a file is processing it is highlighted in your file manager. When the highlight disappears, it is ready.

How long does optimization take?

It depends on video length and quality. Longer videos take longer to process. The goal is a streaming-ready output that runs reliably and looks great.

What will be the output format/settings?

Output is always MP4 + H.264 (video) + AAC (audio), 30 fps. Resolution is limited to 1920 px on the longest side while keeping the original aspect ratio. Bitrate is adjusted to the selected platform preset.

Note: file size may change (smaller or larger) after optimization. This is normal for stable, platform-friendly output. In some cases the final file can be larger than expected - please keep an eye on your storage usage.

Can I use the same video on multiple platforms?

Yes. The same video can be streamed to different platforms. For best results, we recommend optimizing it separately using each platform's preset.

Can I upload audio-only files?

No. A streaming file must include a video track and an audio track. If you have audio only, combine it with any video background into one video file.

Is there a duration limit per file?

There is no strict duration limit, but we do not recommend files longer than 23 hours. If you plan very long files, upload a test file first.

Can I upload multiple files at once?

Yes. You can select multiple files - they will upload sequentially (one after another).

Should I keep the tab open during upload?

Yes. Do not close the browser tab during upload or it may fail. Once the file appears in the file manager and processing has started, you can safely close or switch tabs.

How long are files stored?

Files are stored while your subscription is active, plus 7 days after deactivation. Trial files are stored for 2 days after deactivation.

Can I manage files and folders?

Yes. You can move, rename, organize into folders/subfolders, delete, and download your files. It works like a simple file manager inside your dashboard.

How do playlists and Shuffle work?

You build a playlist right before starting a stream. If you enable Shuffle, the list is mixed, played, then mixed again and played again - endlessly. We avoid instant repeats (the last item won't become the first immediately).

How does looping work (24/7 playback)?

Your selected playlist plays continuously. When it reaches the end, it starts again automatically. This is ideal for 24/7 channels and always-on live streams.

Can I change a playlist while streaming?

To change a playlist you need to stop the stream and build a new playlist.

What does "1 stream = 1 key" mean?

One stream uses one stream key. If you want to stream to multiple platforms at the same time, you'll need multiple streams (depending on your plan).

Which streaming protocol is used?

RTMP / RTMPS.

How do I keep my stream key safe?

Do not share your stream key and do not publish it. Treat it like a password. Anyone with the key may be able to stream to your channel.

How do plan payments work?

Plans are paid from your internal balance. Add funds first, then activate a plan. If Auto Renewal is enabled, when the paid period ends, funds are automatically deducted from your balance and the plan renews to avoid interruptions.

Which payment methods are available?

Visa, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and cryptocurrencies (via Cryptomus). Availability may vary by country/provider.

Do you guarantee storage or take responsibility for my files?

Please keep your own backups. We are not responsible for file loss due to technical issues, third-party actions, or user actions. Potentially prohibited content may be removed without notice.

What content is prohibited?

Content that violates laws or platform rules is not allowed (violence, hate, explicit sexual content, scams, copyright infringement, etc.). Always follow the policies of the platform you stream to.
